Should the Hunt Series pay more at the back and less at the front? Example $750 to win and $200 to start?

In my humble opinion, pay the best you can at the bottom to get the cars. Only one driver wins, but it takes all of the cars to make a show. It worked for the class starting out at Antioch. I don't know what the total purse is for the series, but I'd bet some money could be shuffled around to the bottom to get a few more cars. Bigger shows are what this series is supposed to be about. I'm interested in seeing what Mr. Prentice can do with this series. It needs to be promoted a little better and I think it will be. I'd like to see a certain other track included, but that track's promoter needs to want it. But, I digress... Yeah, pay better on the bottom, get more cars. Nice to see someone voice an opinion. As far as the Hunt series purse the current purse is $5045.00
This is a purse I sent to John and at the time he seemed to agree. We will see what happens.
1. 750 2. 550 3. 350 4. 300 5. 250 6. on 200
Total $5200.00

That's a nice purse for this class. I like the idea of $200 to start. More incentive for the racers to travel to these tracks. It doesn't hurt to make the suggestion. You never know what could happen. I agree it is important to try and attract more cars. 200 to start will certainly help with that. Its a traveling series so to get people to travel they need to know they will at least be able offset some of the extra traveling expenses. Im optimistic that Mr. Prentice will do whats necessary to make this series grow and prosper.
